Payment automation for Romanian SMEs

All of your company’s payments, in one place

CursoPay automatically downloads invoices from ANAF e-Factura, applies the correct BNR rate to every contract, turns your monthly payroll export into ready-to-pay lines, and tracks rent and other recurring EUR payments on its own — all flowing into one ready-to-import bank payment file, with a clear view of monthly spend.

The problem

Invoices, payroll and exchange rates — all done by hand

For a Romanian SME, monthly payments mean far more than pressing a button: invoices to download and re-enter, a BNR rate to look up for every EUR invoice, payroll to turn into payments, rent to remember, and, at month end, no clear picture of where the money went.

Invoices from ANAF e-Factura and email have to be downloaded and re-entered into the books, one at a time.
Which exchange rate applies — invoice date, payment date, or the day before — differs by contract and is easy to get wrong.
Monthly payroll is processed separately, from a spreadsheet export, disconnected from the rest of your payments.
Rent and other recurring EUR payments are tracked from memory or a separate spreadsheet — including that month’s date and rate.
In the end, no one has a clear view of monthly spend, by supplier or by product, without building a report by hand.
How it works

From invoices (and payroll) to a payment file, automatically

CursoPay sits between your invoice and payroll sources and your bank’s payment import.

1

Invoices arrive automatically

CursoPay pulls incoming invoices from ANAF e-Factura / SPV every day, with no action on your part; invoices that don’t come through e-Factura can still be uploaded as PDF.

2

The BNR rate is applied per contract

For every supplier or contract, CursoPay knows which rate rule applies — invoice date, payment date, or the day before — and converts the EUR amount using its daily-synced BNR rate history.

3

Recurring payments track themselves

Rent and other EUR contracts with a monthly or quarterly due date are recognized automatically; at each due date, CursoPay proposes the payment already converted at the right rate — you confirm the interval once.

4

Payroll joins the same flow

Upload your monthly payroll export and CursoPay matches employees and prepares the payment lines alongside your supplier invoices, with no separate processing.

5

The payment file is ready

Invoices, payroll and recurring payments all come together into one ready-to-import bank file, with the rate, date and source logged for every amount.

Features

What CursoPay does

One flow for invoices, payroll and recurring payments — with the correct EUR-RON conversion every time.

Automatic ANAF e-Factura download

Incoming invoices are pulled automatically from the ANAF SPV every day, already structured, with no manual data entry.

EUR → RON conversion per contract

The rate rule — invoice date, payment date, or the day before — is configured per supplier or contract and applied automatically from the daily BNR rate history.

Recurring payments tracked automatically

Rent and other fixed-schedule EUR contracts are recognized and proposed at each due date, already converted, with a reminder before the deadline.

Payroll simplified

Your monthly payroll export turns directly into prepared payments, matched to employees, without re-entering data anywhere else.

Ready-to-send payment file

Invoices, payroll and recurring payments come together into a single payment run, exported in the format your bank expects.

A full record for every payment

The rate used, its date, the source and when it was calculated are logged for every amount — ready for tax reviews or later questions.

Roadmap

What’s next

Once invoices, payroll and recurring payments flow automatically, the next step is seeing clearly where the money goes.

Next

Statistics and monthly spend

Dashboards for monthly spend, broken down by supplier and by product or service, plus the BNR rate trend behind it — an overview without building a report by hand.

Next

Automatic PDF invoice extraction

For suppliers outside e-Factura (for example those outside Romania), automatic PDF extraction will read the supplier, amount, currency and dates — you confirm before anything is paid.

Later

More banks and currencies

Additional export adapters for other banks and currency pairs beyond EUR/RON, where needed.

Who uses it

Built for how an SME actually works

Every role sees exactly what it needs, without getting lost in detail.

Accounting clerk

Reviews the invoices and payroll that arrive automatically, and prepares payments.

Admin

Maintains supplier and contract records, including rate rules, and manages bank connections.

Manager / owner

Sees at a glance how much was spent this month, by supplier and by product, without asking for a separate report.

Auditor

Read-only access to the rate history and the record behind every payment, whenever a review is needed.
